Success Academy isn't a single school, it's one of the largest charter school networks in New York City. That means every social media decision has to balance consistency, creativity, and speed across dozens of campuses, audiences, and initiatives.
My role extends beyond publishing content. I help shape social strategy, develop campaigns, oversee creative production, support paid media, train school social media managers, and identify the stories that best represent the organization's mission.
Whether I'm filming a scholar acceptance story, building content systems for more than 55 schools, or partnering with leadership on major announcements, my focus remains the same: create work that people genuinely want to watch and share.

IMPACT

CAMPAIGN HIGHLIGHT
From one post to national attention.
Not every milestone becomes a story. Recognizing the moments with the potential to resonate is just as important as how they’re told. Olivia’s acceptance to Brown University was one of those moments.
The post quickly spread across 30+ major social media accounts, leading to coverage from People, theGrio, and Black Enterprise. It also caught the attention of producers at The Jennifer Hudson Show, where I managed the initial outreach before our PR team completed final coordination.
It was a reminder that the right story—told authentically—can extend far beyond the platform it was created for.
Bringing major moments to social.
Collaborations
Throughout my time at Success Academy, I've helped produce and support content featuring nationally recognized talent, executives, athletes, and organizational partners.
Projects have included campaigns featuring Misty Copeland, AC Milan Foundation, Pato, executive leadership, and network-wide initiatives designed to reach prospective families and educators.

UNDERSTAND
Every project starts with the audience and the objective—not the trend. Understanding both informs every creative decision that follows.
CREATE
From concept to production, each story is shaped with platform behavior, creative direction, and collaboration in mind.
REFINE
Performance informs what comes next. Every campaign becomes an opportunity to learn, adapt, and create stronger work over time.
Reflection
What this experience taught me.
Working at Success Academy has changed how I think about social media.
It reinforced that great social isn't just about creating content—it's about building systems that allow great stories to happen consistently.
Balancing strategy, creative production, collaboration, and execution across a network of this scale has strengthened both my creative instincts and my ability to lead through process.
